DJ CRAIGBLACK TIE owner Craig has been a resident of Sarasota
since 1994. He relocated from New Jersey where he started
his DJ business while in college. Craig has performed at well
over 2,000 weddings and events and is one of the favorites in
this area with Banquet Managers, Photographers and other
wedding professionals. His friendly, outgoing personality
makes him a natural for this profession. His ability to
orchestrate your event will allow you to relax & enjoy your
day. He loves what he does, and it is evident at every event.
DJ CHUCK
Originally from Pittsburgh, Chuck's background in radio
has given him the extra edge in performing. He has been
with Black Tie since 2001 and has performed at over 1,700
events. He is always willing to go the extra mile for
BTDJs and our Brides & Grooms. His caring,
professional manner makes him a favorite with everyone,
and he is definitely one of the areas best! We always
receive praise and referrals from his events.
DJ JIM:
Jim brings a northern flair and lots of experience to each
and every Black Tie event at which he performs. A
transplant from Boston, he has been a Florida DJ for over
12 years. Jim is a popular choice for all age groups from
teens to senior events but really exels at our specialty of
weddings. He is energetic and enthusiastic about
everything he does & will lead your guests on the dance
floor if you wish.
DJ RAY:
Ray has been part of our BLACK TIE DJ team since 1998
upon relocating from New York. He is a natural born Disc
Jockey with a degree in communications working on radio
in New York from 1989 - 1998 as a DJ and music director.
He has a music collection of over 20,000 songs and has
performed at over 1200 weddings. Ray always gives his all
providing a professional and upbeat style & loves to get the
crowd involved.
DJ BRIAN:
While almost everyone you meet in sunny Florida has come
from another state, Brian was raised right here in Sarasota.
His versatility makes him just as wonderful performing at
teen & Country Club events as he is at a wedding, although
weddings are definitely his preference. His lovalty and
professionalism shine through at every BTDJ event, and he
takes extreme pride in the sterling reputation as one of the
areas best.
Betty/Office Manager: The master planner, Betty Co-ordinates
all of our events and manages the paperwork for all of our DJs. Her
endless hours of processing and confirming every event has made her
the lifeblood of this organization. Her friendly outgoing personality
helps to put everyone at ease as they start the preparations for
their event.
